Leather moves, marks and evolves over time. Small irregularities in the leather are completely normal: they are not a production fault, but a natural characteristic of a natural material.

Neuville leather is pre-treated, so your bag needs no sealing and no regular treatment. It will evolve beautifully over time. To prevent signs of wear, keep these tips in mind:

Avoid prolonged contact with water and sun, and with rough or dark textiles (a light-coloured bag doesn't like much contact with dark jeans).

If your bag gets stained, use a colourless product designed for leather. A cheaper alternative: a cotton pad lightly moistened with cleansing milk, or a baby wipe, can also remove the stain. Avoid this on white bags.

Also avoid coloured polishes, as they may rub off on your clothes.
